Baldur’s Gate 3: How to find Arabella’s Parents (BG3)

Can we save her parents before it's too late?:

Poor Arabella, she just can’t catch a break, can she? From being tormented by snakes to losing her parents in the shadow-cursed town. And of course, it’s up to us to find Arabella’s parents in Baldur’s Gate 3.

Where to Find Arabella and How to Start Her Quest

To start the Save Arabella quest, you’ll first need to find Kagha in Act 1. She is located in the Druid Grove. You will overhear Kagha talking about what to do with Arabella. After speaking with Arabella’s parents Komira and Locke, they will ask you to check up on Arabella. You’ll need to go to Kagha’s chambers and decide whether to save Arabella or not.

Arabella will be in Reithwin Town in Act 2 after that. This will start the second part of the quest. You’ll be tasked with finding Arabella’s parents.

Where are Arabella’s Parents in Baldur’s Gate 3 – Answered

You can find Arabella’s parents in the House of Healing by Sister Lidwin. If you’ve found Arabella in the town square, just outside of the Shar statue, you’re in luck. Her parents aren’t very far away! You have to head to the House of Healing.

But that’s where the good news ends. Her parents, Locke and Komira, are being attended to by one of the blind and deluded nurses of the Healing House. But they’re spared the pain of the nurse’s “treatments” because they’re already dead.

You can use Speak to the Dead on her father to learn that Zevlor abandoned them, which led to them being found, and killed, by the Nurses. Arabella’s mother won’t speak to you, but she will have a locket on her body. Unfortunately, you can’t give it to Arabella.

You can opt to speak to the nurse, who won’t be aggressive to you, and deceive her into opening up shop. But the only thing left to do is speak to Arabella and tell her the grim news.

We sent her to our camp, so that’s where we found her. Arabella will take the news badly (and Lae’zel will gain inspiration if she’s in your party). But you won’t see the quest resolved until you take a long rest. Once you do, you can check up on her.

She’s still not in a great place, but Withers sets her on the right path. And for your reward, you’ll get Shadow Blade, an uncommon ring, and the unique spell, “Arabella’s Shadow Entangle.” This spell will allow you to Entangle Undead and Shadow creatures. A very niche spell, but useful in the Shadow-Cursed Lands.

Shadow Blade
