Surviving in Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag involves learning the art of deception. There’s a time and place for good old-fashioned combat, but sneaking around while creating diversions (whistling, for example) will keep you alive much longer.
Today, we focus on Edward Kenway’s Throw Money ability. It’s sort of like making it rain, but instead of paper, you hurl coins [ouch]. Toss some loose change into a crowd and the masses will scurry like animals gathering up that precious loot.
There’s a great reason why throwing money is a smart idea. For starters, guards will turn to watch the commotion, buying several seconds to make an escape or simply go about your business. Next, you’re able to use non-player characters to get in the way of Edward’s pursuers. Simply toss the coins and attackers will stumble over the cash-starved masses.
On the downside, this may prevent you from blending into a crowd. Obviously, you should think before you throw.
