The Twitch Prime subscription service has become a popular way for developers to give players of their games exclusive in-game items. This strategy has been used heavily by Respawn Entertainment for its popular battle royale title of Apex Legends. Twitch Prime members have been treated to a variety of exclusive cosmetic items for multiple characters who call Apex Legends home. One of the latest cosmetic things members have access to for Apex Legends is the new Whiplash skin for the adrenaline junkie character of Octane. Apex Legends Twitch Prime Octane Whiplash Skin

To be eligible to receive this exclusive cosmetic item, players need to be an active Twitch Prime member. In addition, you must also have your Electronic Arts (EA) account linked to your Twitch Prime account to have the Apex Legends Octane Whiplash added to you inventory. Console players will also have to make sure their Xbox Live or PlayStation Network account is linked to their EA account.

You can check to see if your EA and Xbox Live or PlayStation Network accounts are linked together on this helpful page from EA. You can see if your Twitch Prime and EA accounts are actively linked together on the connections page for the high-profile streaming platform. 

Once you have confirmed your accounts are all linked, you will be able to head to the Apex Legends page for the streaming platform’s subscription service and claim your Octane Whiplash skin. The dark red color scheme of the Octane Whiplash skin will have players zooming around Kings Canyon collecting victories in style.
