Anno 117 Pax Romana System Requirements Detailed

Anno-rmous!

Anno 117: Pax Romana, the latest entry in the city-builder strategy series from Ubisoft, is shaping up to be their most ambitious project yet. Built on their specialized Empire Engine, Anno 117: Pax Romana looks gorgeous and plays well, too, based on the demo released by Ubisoft.

The requirements are pretty detailed and give a very good idea of what to expect. 1440p is the sweet spot for most PC gamers these days, and if you want to hit 60 FPS at the high settings on that, you’ll need a Ryzen 5 5600X paired with an RTX 4070 Ti Super. This is a demanding game for sure, but considering the pace, high-quality visuals, and CPU-intensive tasks going on at all times, the performance expectancy doesn’t seem too unreasonable.

I wouldn’t personally play this at 30 FPS, but the developers consider that a playable experience, and the “Enthusiast” column for 4K mentions a 30 FPS target. Thankfully, if you’ve played the demo, you’ll know that the game has support for DLSS and FSR, so you can always improve your framerate using these, especially at higher resolutions.
