Fish Coming to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in May

Players will be able to catch some new fish when May arrives in the word of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

One of the most entertaining aspects of Animal Crossing: New Horizons is the ability for players to encounter and catch a variety of different fish that live in the various bodies of water on your island. However, not all of the fish in the game is not available for players to find and catch at the same time. Different groups of fish will arrive and leave the game every single month with May being the next month of change when it comes to which of these aquatic creatures will be spawning. Fortunately, we have all of the new fish that will be arriving in Animal Crossing: New Horizons for the month of May covered for you.

Now, players in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres will see differing amounts of fish coming to the game in May in addition to different kinds of the creatures, which means players will have different experiences when it comes to their fishing adventures for the fifth month of 2020. The Northern Hemisphere will see eight fish arrive in May with the Southern Hemisphere having an arrival of five of the aquatic creatures making their debut after not being available in April.

Ones like the Blue Marlin, Tuna, and Mahi-Mahi that spawn in May are worth several thousands of dollars. Players who are looking to fatten their wallets with some Bells in May will be wise to try and catch these particular fish and sell them to help improve their financial situation where they probably owe plenty of Bells to the infamous Tom Nook. However, individuals who are trying to encounter and catch some of the fish arriving in May that they have not been able to before for their lists will be happy to see several ones are spawning beginning in May. This spawn rate change will allow them to make some substantial progress on their cataloging of the aquatic critters found in the world of Animal Crossing: New Horizons during May.
