There is plenty of different activities for players to experience and enjoy in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. One of these activities is the fishing tourney, which recently just had its first showing take place. Fortunately, there are multiple other editions of this activity taking place later on this year. Animal Crossing: New Horizons Fishing Tourney Schedule
The first fishing tourney of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons schedule took place on Saturday, April 11th. Players will be able to participate in future tourneys on the second Saturday of July, October, and January. These second Saturdays are the following dates:
- Saturday, July 11th
- Saturday, October 10th
- Saturday, January 9th
No tourneys past January were officially announced. We will update this schedule with the dates of any newly announced fishing tourney events if Nintendo reveals them.

Players who are interested in participating in one of these events need to speak with CJ on the above dates, which will grant you access to the tournament. Points will be rewarded to players for every fish they catch during a three-minute window. Your goal is to acquire as many points as you can during this three-minute schedule.
Each fishing tourney of the schedule will give players one free entry with each following entry costing you a total of 500 Bells. A random event-exclusive reward will be given to players who acquire 10 points with trophies being awarded to players who can get 100, 200, and 300 points.
There is no doubt that a vast majority of the game’s community will be excited to be at the top at each of the future events from the remainder of the fishing tourney schedule.
