Animal Crossing: New Horizons contains a vast cast of characters that players can interact with on their islands. One of these characters is CJ, who will be able to provide you with an exciting activity to help fill your time. Fortunately, we have everything you need to know about CJ covered for you.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons CJ

Players will find that CJ is a beaver who can be found wandering around your island. Unfortunately, there is no specific time that he is guaranteed to appear on the island. This lack of a consistent schedule means players will just have to pray that this beaver is around when they are looking to speak with him. 

He is the host of the Fishing Tourney and will provide you with a challenge if you speak with him. This challenges tasks Animal Crossing: New Horizons players to catch three of the same kind of fish in a row. Individuals taking on this challenge will have the best success if they look at the size of the shadow for the fish they are about to catch and use this as a guide for making sure you catch the same size of fish three times in a row. 

You can then sell the fish to CJ, who will buy them at a very lucrative price at 1.5 times the amount that Timmy and Tommy will pay you for the same fish.

Following the completion of the challenge given to you by CJ, you can then bring him three of the same kind of fish, and he will provide you with a collectible for your effort.
