This particular creature spawns in the Northern Hemisphere between April and September and between October and March in the Southern Hemisphere. Players will have to wait until these specific months in their hemispheres to have a chance of encountering and catching the butterfly fish.

This aquatic creature spawns all day, which means players will not have to wait for a specific period to be able to catch the butterfly fish.
Individuals who can catch this creature will be able to sell it for a total of 1,000 Bells, making it a valuable creature that players can sell in the title.
