Seasons are nothing new in Destiny 2 and this happens to be the 20th one that Guardians have been able to experience in the game. At this point, there is a routine, and many Guardians are already prepping for the weekly challenges. Good thing we have the full list of Week 1 Challenges for Lightfall here.

Destiny 2 Lightfall – All Season of Defiance Week 1 Challenges

The first week of a new season typically introduces Guardians to the fresh content in the game such as themed events, Battlegrounds, or new strikes. For Week 1, we’ll all have 10 different challenges to complete that give a broad range of activities, and of course, rewards. You can find the full list below.

Season of Defiance Week 1 Challenges:

  • Righteous Defiance – Complete Defiant Battleground: EDZ.
    • War Table Upgrade and Challenger XP
  • Awaken, Queensguard – Complete Week 1 of the We Stand Unbroken Quest.
    • War Table Upgrade and Challenger XP
  • Silver Lining – Reach Rank 12 with Nimbus in Neonuma.
    • Challenger XP
  • Legion’s Bounty – Spend a Defiant Key to earn bonus rewards at the end of a Defiant Battlegrounds playlist activity. Defiant Keys can be earned by completing Lightfall campaign missions, Terminal Overload in Neomuna, raids, Vanguard Ops playlist activities, Gambit matches, and Crucible matches.
    • War Table Upgrade and Challenger XP
  • Keycard-Operated – Use keys to unlock Terminal Overload key chests in Neomuna. After completing the quest Stargazer, Terminal Overload keys can be earned in Neomuna by completing public events, looting chests, and completing patrols.
    • Challenger XP
  • Neptune Activities – In Neonuma, complete bounties, patrols, Lost Sectors, and public events.
    • Challenger XP and Bright Dust
  • Taking All Challenges – Complete weekly playlist challenges.
    • Bright Dust and Challenger XP
  • Anti-Cabal Sweep – Defeat Cabal combatants in Vanguard playlists or strikes. Earn bonus progress for defeating tougher combatants.
    • Challenger XP and Bright Dust
  • Spark Defender – Score points in Rift. Bonus progress is awarded for igniting the Rift.
    • Challenger XP and Bright Dust
  • Deadly Horizons – Calibrate long-range weapons, pulse rifles, bows, and trace rifles, in Neonuma. Bonus progress awarded in Lost Sectors.
    • Challenger XP and Bright Dust.

If you don’t complete the challenges this week in Destiny 2, don’t worry, because they will remain for the rest of the season. However, the challenges can start to stack up with so much to complete in Lightfall.
