Chill out and grab those chests

Finding Treasure Chests in Honkai: Star Rail is a quick way of getting some Trailblazer Exp and those last few Stellar Jades required for another Warp. The game helps you a lot by telling you how many chests there are in the area, but it’s not exactly as easy as that. No, some of them are considered “extras” and you gotta find them by doing something else such as solving a puzzle or winning a battle. But some areas are easy to figure out, and one of them is the Outlying Snow Plains which has only a few chests. If you wanna grab’em all, keep reading to learn all of the Outlying Snow Plains treasure chest locations in Honkai: Star Rail.

There are three Treasure Chests marked on Outlying Snow Plains’ map and one extra obtained by fighting a strong enemy. Just like most areas, one chest is actually a Warp Trotter, so you gotta find it before you see the 3/3 on your map. Luckily, they’re not hard to locate.

  • 1 – Warp Trotter. Hiding next to a few trees. Hard to miss after you teleport from the nearest anchor. If it flees, reenter the area so it can respawn.
  • 2 – Keep heading straight after defeating the piggy and you’ll see it next to a frozen monster corpse.
  • 3 – Behind the house located next to the map’s exit.
  • 4 – Defeat the monster guarding the chest. Hard to miss after getting the previous one.

And that’s it! Pretty easy area to clean up. If you had it on 0/3 for a reason, it’s probably because we only visit it briefly during the main story before we’re taken to the city. You can only get them all by immediately backtracking, which most people won’t usually do. But don’t worry if you didn’t, as there’s only a few secrets to be found in here.
