All Materials Required for Ascending Dehya in Genshin Impact

Is it 3.5 yet? How about now? Is it time now?

The queen of the desert is nigh to descend and it’s only right we prepare a proper arrival, even if HoYoverse is shooting themselves in the foot by adding her to the Standard after 3.5. Dehya has been in the Sumeru Storyline for a few chapters but will see her first turn on the banner on the eve of 3.5 updates. To prep for her eventual arrival to your party, let’s take a summary of what ascension materials Dehya is going to require to ascend to level 90 in Genshin Impact.

Dehya Ascension Materials in Genshin Impact: Back to the Triangle Mecha

As a Pyro denizen, it’s only natural our fair lady requires the line of gems, Agnidus Agate. These can luckily be found at the boss Algorithm of Semi-Intransient Matric of Overseer Network, the Sumeru boss with an unnecessarily long name just to break tired writers everywhere. This peculiar boss resembles much of the Small Mechanus in the area, whereas it has a funny trick of using its machinery to turn itself invisible in the midst of battle. In addition, it deploys decoys when it does so; bringing an Electro will help break through its defenses and drop it into a paralyzed state. You won’t need to go to multiple places in order to ascend Dehya since the boss will drop both Agnidus Agate and Vayuda Turquoise.

In order to ascend Dehya, we’re going to have to go back to the desert not just for her boss but back to the whirlwinds north of it in search of Sand Grease Pupas. Similar to Alhaitham, she’ll require these Sumeru-exclusive items in order to reach her true potential. Scattered amongst the sands, the best places for these items are the caves where the Setekh Wenet Wyrm dwells and the places out in the desert where he is known to breach and attack the player. Like most items, these respawn every two-three days, so it’s best to get an early start on the items so you’re prepped properly.

The last item Dehya will require is Eremite Red Silks, which is hilarious, given that as a mercenary, she requires the items of her competitors in order to get the score first before them. In business, it’s all a gamble on how can get the best job and therefore the best reward, so every soldier for themself! These guys can be found just about anywhere in Sumeru, whether you’re in the rainforest or venturing out into the desert. But if you don’t feel like hunting them down freestyle, then you can always go to your Adventurer’s Journal. This book may not have a lot of uses once you’ve gathered all of the treasures for completing it and have already caught up to the story. But it does recount all of the enemies that you have come across in the game and has recorded where you are most likely to find them. Looking up Eremites in the Journal will lead you to a page where you can begin Navigation. This prompts the mini-map to begin showing you where the largest groups of Eremites can be found in all of Sumeru. Once you have defeated one group, it’ll automatically indicate the next area for you so you can continue on a streak until you have plenty of materials.

  • x1 Agnidus Agate Sliver, x9 Agnidus Agate Fragment, x9 Agnidus Agate Chunk, x6 Agnidus Agate Gemstone
  • X46 Light Guiding Tetrahedron
  • X168 Sand Grease Pupas

Dehya’s Genshin Impact Talent Ascension Materials – Tearing Down More Eremites

For Talent Books, Dehya is going to require Praxis. These books are located at the Domain in Sumeru, Steeple of Ignorance, and can be farmed every Wednesday and Saturday. On Sunday, all materials become available for farming, so depending on if you find yourself in need of a few more, Sunday is also viable for Praxis. Along with those books, Dehya will need more Eremite Scarves to level up her Talent Branches, and up to Level Six will require no more than that and Mora. But once her Levels are high enough, as any character, she’ll begin needing World Boss Drops. Hers, in particular, is the Puppet Strings that you can get from the Shouki no Kami, the Prodigal Challenge, a World Boss that doesn’t open until you have completed the line of Story Quests in Sumeru. World Boss Materials can be difficult to gather since they are randomly dropped from finishing the Boss Battle. Still, if you find yourself in need of one or two, you can also head to the Alchemy Station to transfigure items using Dream Solvent.

Ascension Materials Needed for ONE Branch (With Crown)

  • x3 Teachings of Praxis, x21 Guide to Praxis, x38 Philosophies of Praxis
  • x6 Faded Red Satin, x21Trimmed Red Silk, x31 Rich Red Brocade
  • x6 Puppet Strings, Shouki no Kami
  • x1 Crown of Insight
