So happy they used the Jade Rabbit for the emblem!

The Lunar New Year Event has come to what seems like every single multiplayer game in existence, and Destiny is no exception. And, in typical Destiny fashion, there is an assortment of free and paid items that you can obtain to celebrate! Here’s all the Lunar New Year items in Destiny 2 (both official and unofficial) and how to obtain them.

All Lunar New Year Items in Destiny 2 and How to Get Them

First things first, it’s no surprise that Destiny has gone all in with celebrating the Year of the Rabbit. The Jade Rabbit has always been a motif on the Moon, complete with rice cakes. But it’s also a Scout Rifle. This year, Destiny 2 has leaned into Jade Rabbit symbolism, as a bit of a wink-wink to eagle eyed players.

Free Items in Destiny 2’s Lunar New Year

The first and most coveted item Destiny 2 is offering is the Jade Rabbit / Year of the Rabbit Banner and Emblem in Destiny 2. This was posted about on Twitter, and if you want to redeem it, you’ll need a code. Here’s precisely how to get it.

  1. Navigate to the Bungie Rewards page here.
  2. Sign in to your account by selecting platform.
  3. You’ll get a pop-up window asking you to log into your account on that platform. Disable pop-up blocker if you’re having trouble at this step.
  4. You’ll arrive at a screen that will confirm your account’s username and prompt you to enter a code.
  5. Enter the code: TNN-DKM-6LG.
  6. If the code was properly input, you’ll get a notification saying “Success! Destiny 2’s Emblem – Jade Burrow”
  7. Head to your Collections menu, then navigate to Flair to find the Emblem there.
  8. If Jade Burrow is not appearing, restart Destiny and log back into your character. It may take some time to apply, as it did in my case.

The second free item you can obtain is 880 Bright Dust by navigating to the Shop Menu or visiting the Eververse in the Tower. Only one gift of Bright Dust can be claimed per account!
