All Knife Commands to Try Out Knives in CS:GO

Too many stabbing tools to choose from.

Outside of its more competitive nature, CS:GO is a game all about style through its in-game cosmetics. Players will dump endless amounts of money into the game to ensure their skins look stylish, ranging from a few cents to thousands of dollars. If you’re considering spending that money for whatever reason, you may want a look at the different types of knives to determine which you want to purchase. There’s a way to do that, but it’s initially confusing. Here are all knife commands in CS:GO, so you can try out whatever knife you want.

Every Knife Command in CS:GO

Before trying out a knife skin, you’ll first have to get into an offline lobby. To do this, ensure you have the developer console enabled in your settings and press tilde (~) in the main menu. From there, type in “map” followed by the map name and mode. As one example, if we wanted to test out knives on Nuke, we’d type in “map de_nuke casual”. Once you’re in, open up the developer console again and type in “sv_cheats 1” followed by “mp_drop_knife_enable 1”. Then, drop your knife and pistol.

Once this is all done, we can finally get to testing out each of the knife variants. Each command will differ depending on the knife type, so you can find all commands below. Remember to drop your current knife if you wish to test out a new one. Without further ado, here they are:

If you want to inspect any of these knives outside of holding them in your hand, the Inspect key should be F by default. If that doesn’t work, you can find the button within your keybinds.
