All Fontaine Fishing Spots in Genshin Impact

Fontaine is the land of Hydro, rivers and everything damp (in a good way) in Genshin Impact. So it’s clear as water that there are various fishing spots scattered around here too. And just like you may imagine, these spots have unique regional fish that can be exchanged for exclusive rewards at the local Fishing Association NPC. So get your rod ready and let’s start hooking up some sea creatures!

All Fishing Spots Locations in Fontaine

There’s a total of eight fishing spots in Fontaine, each with its own specific fish to catch. You’ll need to catch fish in each and every single one of them to exchange for rewards in the Fontaine Fishing Association, next to the Court of Fontaine. Not all of the listed fish might appear at the fishing hole.

Visit the Association beforehand to get the recipes for the Fontaine baits, the Sour Bait and the Flashing Maintenance Mek Bait. Make a few of them at the Crafting Table and you’ll be ready to cast your angle at multiple waters.

1 – Elynas: South Side Mountains

Next to a teleport, fairly easy to reach.

2 – Elynas: Eastern Shoal

Next to the Statue of the Seven nearby and with a Waverider point next to it.

3 – Elynas: Northeast Beach

Right next to a few seals. Don’t hit them!

4 –  West Slopes of Mont Automnequi

Teleport to the Poisson Waypoint and climb up the stairs. Turn to your left and you’ll see the fishes waiting for you. 

5 – Court of Fontaine: City Wall Southern Arc

By the main city’s walls, take the underwater Waypoint for easier access.

6 – Court of Fontaine, Fishing Association

You’ve certainly seen this one before. We just didn’t mention it yet but here it is, right beside the Fishing Association NPC.

7- Fishing Boat at Sea

There’s an abandoned boat in the middle of the seas, easy to reach through the nearby underwater Waypoint. Swim your way up there and throw your hook.

8 – Fountain of Lucine: Western Shoal

Jump down from the Icewind Suite boss arena and you’ll find a small wood bridge leading to the last fishing spot in this area.

Fish respawn every 3 days, but you can hop on your friends’ worlds to get them quicker (if they’re not fishing, of course). You’ll need a bunch of them to get rewards such as the special Fontaine fishing rod, which is useful for fishing quicker. But the best prize is the Fleuve Cendre Ferryman sword, which you should definitely go after.
