The annual birthday festivities have arrived on the island in Fortnite, which means there’s plenty of festive fun to enjoy for a limited time. One of the key items in this event is birthday cakes that can be found and consumed.
The island is quite large, so tracking down birthday cake around it is a fairly tough task. You need to find and interact with them for a few quests, though, so here are all birthday cake locations in Fortnite Chapter Six, season four.
Birthday Cake Locations in Fortnite
There are 10 spots you can visit around the island to find birthday cake in Fortnite. This includes an array of named POIs, as well as some smaller, unnamed regions and Landmarks. Here are all of the spots you can venture to for birthday cake while the event is active.
- Supernova Academy – In the southwestern corner of the courtyard area.
- OXR HQ – Near the northeast end of the POI.
- West of First Order Base – Inside a small Smash N’ Grab Jewelry Store east of Supernova Academy and west of First Order Base.
- Gas station slightly south of The Hive – Near the northwest end of a BURD gas station.
- Foxy Floodgate – Close to the northern end of Foxy Floodgate.
- Outlaw Oasis – At the very northern edge of Outlaw Oasis, near some red lounge chairs.
- Canyon Crossing – Near the south end of Canyon Crossing.
- Demon’s Debris – Close to the southwestern edge of Demon’s Debris.
- North of Kappa Kappa Factory – In the middle of the tennis courts, found slightly north of Kappa Kappa Factory and south of Shining Span.
- Dystopia City – Near the very northwest corner of the POI, sitting on some grass.
At all of these locations, you’ll find a massive purple and blue cake surrounded by small cake slices on plates and balloons. You can’t interact with the main cake in the center, but the slices can be consumed for health or shields.
Although most of the birthday cakes can be found at named POIs, some of them are slightly outside of them and situated at Landmarks or unnamed spots instead. There are two key birthday quests you need to get done near these cakes to finish all of these special missions.
Dance by a Birthday Cake Found at Named Locations in Fortnite
To complete the dance by a birthday cake quest, perform any emote while standing by a cake. Although this quest mentions dancing, any emote you have counts as long as you perform this action while fairly close to the cake.
Eat Slices of Birthday Cake Found at Named Locations in Fortnite
To finish the eat slices of birthday cake task, you must consume eight slices of birthday cake. All cakes have this number of slices sitting on plates around them, but your health or shields need to be less than full to eat them. You also won’t have enough to finish this task in one go if other players have already eaten some, so it might take you a few trips to different cakes to get this quest done.
There’s plenty more to get done around the island after finding all the birthday cakes. Next, you might work on getting birthday presents or visiting the mysterious location in the mountains.
