How to complete all birthday quests in Fortnite Chapter 6, season 4

Happy Birthday to Fortnite!

Fortnite’s eighth birthday has arrived, and it’s brought with it several key missions you need to get done to claim all available prizes. Birthday rewards are exclusive, so finishing these quests is the only way to unlock them.

There are some decently tricky tasks to work through in this special, limited-time event. You don’t want to miss out on those birthday prizes, though, so here’s how to complete all birthday quests in Fortnite Chapter Six, season four.

There are six birthday quests you need to get done to claim all eight birthday prizes in Chapter Six, season four. Here are all of the missions featured in this series and how to complete each one.

  • Search containers before damaging a player in a single match.
  • Dance by a birthday cake found at named locations.
  • Throw birthday presents.
  • Ascend to 80 meters using balloons.
  • Eat slices of birthday cake found at named locations.
  • Wish the bus driver a happy birthday.

Search containers before damaging a player in a single match in Fortnite

Your first mission isn’t birthday event specific, and simply tasks you with searching eight containers before damaging enemy players in a single round. The progress for this one doesn’t carry over between matches since it specifically tasks you with looting eight containers to celebrate eight years of Fortnite within the same round.

To get this one done, I recommend heading straight to a main POI located around the outskirts of the island. Great spots to pick are First Order Base, Resistance Base, and Outpost Enclave. These locations have plenty of loot, but aren’t very popular since they’re from past seasons, making them perfect spots to go hunting for eight containers.

Find a birthday cake around the main POIs on the island and emote while standing close to one to finish your next task. Birthday cakes can be found around just about all named POIs, including locations like Supernova Academy and OXR HQ. You don’t have to use a dance emote, as any emote you’ve got works for this quest.

Throw birthday presents in Fortnite

Throw a total of three birthday presents to finish the next task. Birthday presents can be found as floor loot rarely around the island, so the toughest part about this mission is finding the item you need. They’re generally easiest to find when searching around main POIs, as these locations tend to have the most loot.

Once you find a present, throw it like you would any other item to transform it into a giant present box. Break it open with your Pickaxe to grab some special goodies from inside, like a powerful weapon, ammo, balloons, and some other items.

Ascend to 80 meters using balloons in Fortnite

Loot until you come across some balloons, then equip them to start flying up into the air. Make sure you equip three of them, the maximum, so you can fly up as high as balloons can take you, which should be about 80 meters. This quest is mostly a waiting game, as you simply have to float through the sky and wait for the balloons to carry you as high as you want to go.

Eat slices of birthday cake found at named locations in Fortnite

Next, you need to consume a total of eight slices of birthday cake. Around the massive birthday cakes found at named locations, you’ll find small plates with glowing blue cake on them. Approach these plates and interact with them to eat them.

Each slice restores some health or shields, so you need to have less than full health and shields to consume these items. There are eight slices situated around the cake, so all of them have to be eaten to finish this quest. If you don’t have enough slices or your health and shields are too full, you can work on this one across different matches, making it a bit easier to get done.

Wish the bus driver a happy birthday in Fortnite

The last quest you need to finish is to wish the bus driver a happy birthday once. This is done by thanking the bus driver like you usually do at the very beginning of each round.

With all of the birthday quests now complete, you can move on to tackling other tricky missions around the island. Next, you might work on visiting the mysterious location in the mountains.
