Genshin Impact Lyney Ascension Materials

All Ascension and Talent Materials for Lyney in Genshin Impact

Watch your Mora vanishing like magic

Being the first 5-star character released in Fontaine, Lyney has a lot of tricks under his sleeve. Unfortunately, magically getting to level 90 out of thin air is not one of them, so we’ve got to do all of the hard work ourselves. Here are all Ascension Materials you’ll need for Lyney in Genshin Impact.

Lyney is a 5-star Pyro Bow character, with gameplay focused on firing Charged Shots much like Ganyu, but with his own uniqueness too. And he requires a few specific items for leveling.

Ascension Materials

  • x168 Rainbow Rose
  • x46 Emperor’s Resolution
  • x1 Agnidus Agate Silver
  • x9 Agnidus Agate Fragment
  • x9 Agnidus Agate Chunk
  • x6 Agnidus Agate Gemstone
  • x18 Recruit’s Insignia
  • x30 Sergant’s Insignia
  • x36 Liutenant’s Insignia
  • x420.000 Mora

The good news is that you might have already got a few Fatui insignias with you. And if you don’t, there are plenty of Fatui enemies that will drop them all around the game’s map. The bad news is that you’ll have to explore Fontaine in its entirety to find the other ones. Rainbow Roses are a specialty from the newest region and can be found throughout all of the newly introduced areas.

Emperor’s Resolution is his World Boss loot, and that means fighting (or swimming, in that case) your way into its lair until you find it, and then killing it a couple of times for materials. At Adventure Rank 55 or higher, you can take anywhere from 16 to 23 boss kills to get all of the necessary materials.

Talent Materials

  • x9 Teachings of Equity
  • x63 Guide to Equity
  • x114 Philosophies of Equity
  • x18 Recruit’s Insignia
  • x66 Sergant’s Insignia
  • x93 Liutenant’s Insignia
  • x18 Primordial Greenbloom
  • x3 Crown of Insight
  • x4.959.000 Mora

Talents require similar items, but at even bigger amounts if you’re thinking about maxing them. Aside from the same Fatui insignias, you’ll also need to farm a little bit on Fontaine’s Talent Domain on Mondays, Thursdays, and Sundays for his books. Expect to be repeating these domains for a few weeks.

Once you get past Talent Level 6, you’ll also need the Primordial Greenbloom from the Guardian of Apep Weekly Boss, unlocked from Nahida’s second Story Quest. If you haven’t done that one yet, it’s time to catch up if you really want to give this boy his true magician potential.

And if you already got all of that, congratulations! You’re done with leveling Lyney once and for all. As for a final trick, you might want to start doing the same to his sister Lynette, who’s somewhat unique herself.
