Yu-Gi-Oh Invades Super Smash Bros. Ultimate With This Mod

by Liana Ruppert

Let’s be real for a moment: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is beyond awesome and its growing roster continues to show fans just how the fighter has earned the rightful name of Ultimate. That being said, that doesn’t mean fans aren’t inserting their own fighters into the mix, this time Yu-Gi-Oh’s Kaibe is joining the fight thanks to a new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate mod.

Seto Kaiba has unofficially joined the game thanks to a new Demonslayer8 mod. It’s a simple reskin of Persona 5’s Joker, which means this DLC is a must in order for this particular modification to function properly. The Yu-Gi-Oh character is a beloved one from the franchise, one of the main faces that fans have come to love throughout the anime and manga’s progression. He’s smart, he’s skillful, and he knows how to kick a lot of ass.

But can he go up against the Ice Climbers? Pondering intensifies.

Fans of Demonslayer8’s mods may recognize his work with other creations such as Halo’s Master Chief, My Hero Academia’s Deku, and so many more. He’s definitely not shy about putting who he wants to see in the fight and that extends to other fighters as well, such as Mortal Kombat 11.
