You Can Now Pet Pets In Fortnite

In Fortnite, you can now give all those good boys just doing their best the love they deserve.

The addition of pets in Fortnite was adorable and one hundred percent necessary. As Fortnite season 8 continues to chug along for the popular battle royale game, one key change was included in today’s update: Being able to pet those good boys just doing their best in-game.

That’s right! Those adorable pets nesting comfortably in another player’s backback can now be interacted with in the best way possible. This is huge news, the biggest, and we should all take a moment to celebrate this momentous occassion. 

This lovely discovery has been made by many players this morning, including the adorable “Can you pet the dog?” Twitter account that clues gamers in on which games allow them to get their cut on with digitalized puppers.

The latest update doesn’t just apply to dogs in-game, but the other pets as well. They deserve it, they work hard. Go ahead, pet that enemy player’s pet – it’ll turn out fine, promise. 

As for the game itself, the latest update is now live in Fortnite for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Nintendo Switch, and mobile devices.
