Street Fighter 6 Celebrates the Month of Halloween with Darkstalkers Avatar Outfits

This is Darkstalkers, everybody spread the word

Street Fighter 6 is kicking off the month of Halloween (known in some circles as the month of October) with another collaboration—kind of. The latest Fighting Pass features avatar gear, stickers, and more from Capcom’s Darkstalkers. Besides the Fighting Pass goodies, the Battle Hub will see season-appropriate decoration, and a Street Voter event will also give players the chance to unlock EX Colors for different fighters.

The Fighter Pass free rewards include a Felicia sticker, an in-game phone background featuring most of the Darkstalkers’s cast, a camera frame with Hsien-Ko, the “Astonishing Undead” title (with Victor), the “I’m Unstoppable” emote, and a Talbain Tail avatar item. It’s all the way at tier 20, but the pass lasts until October 22, giving players plenty of time to try to get as many rewards as they want.

The pass’s paid rewards are, as to be expected, much more extensive. In addition to a camera frame featuring Jedah, the stickers players can earn include two Lilith stickers, one with an O sign and another with an X; a Morrigan sticker; a B.B.Hood sticker; and a sticker of one of Donovan’s attacks. The reward titles include “Prince of Darkness” with Demitri, “Cursed Warrior” featuring Bishamon, and “Ruler of the Universe” with Pyron. There are also a few unlockable music tracks in the lineup: “Morrigan’s Stage (Scotland),” “Felicia’s Stage (U.S.A.),” and “Lord Raptor’s Stage (Australia).” The challenge customization effect features a blood-red moon and flying bats. To complete the Jon Talbain look, the paid reward avatar items include Claws, a Head, a Body, Legs, and a howling emote. The classic game in the pass is Night Warriors: Darkstalkers’ Revenge, the second game in the series.

Fans who can’t get enough of the Darkstalkers references may want to enter the ongoing Street Voter event to satiate their thirst. In Battle Hub, players may choose their favorite Darkstalker character to vote for them. Afterwards, winning Battle Hub fights will net 100 votes, and losses 50. The more votes you cast, the more EX Colors you can get. Just picking a character will unlock a Rikuo color for Marisa. Other colors include a Hsien-Ko-themed A.K.I., a B.B.Hood color for Lily, a Q-Bee color for Manon, and either a purple-haired Jedah or Lord Raptor color for JP. The final EX color players can earn is a Morrigan-themed palette for Chun-Li. Since the Darkstalkers series is generally dormant until it comes time to appear as a cameo or in a collab, it may be a while before fans get to see these characters again, making the Street Voter event worth participating in, even if just to get into the Halloween spirit.
