The Epic Games Store routinely gives away free games, and it’s always a surprise as to what those free games will be.
In the past, indie games like A Short Hike and Amnesia: The Dark Descent have been given away for free.
This week, we have Pikuniku, a charming indie from publisher Devolver Digital.
You Can Get Pikuniku For Free on the Epic Games Store Right Now
From now, October 1, until October 8, you can redeem a free copy of Pikuniku on the Epic Games Store.
To get it, all you need to do is have an Epic Games Store account, visit the store, select Pikuniku from the Free Games section, press the “Get” button, then complete your order for $0.00 and you’re all set.
Once you’ve redeemed Pikuniku for free, it’s yours to keep forever whether you decide to download and play the game or not.
For those unfamiliar with Pikuniku, here’s an excerpt from the game’s description:
“Pikuniku is an absurdly wonderful puzzle-exploration game that takes place in a strange but playful world where not everything is as happy as it seems. Help peculiar characters overcome struggles, uncover a deep state conspiracy, and start a fun little revolution in this delightful dystopian adventure!”
While you’re getting a free copy of Pikuniku, you may also notice that next week’s batch of free games have been revealed.
Starting on October 8, you’ll be able to grab a free copy of ABZU and Rising Storm 2: Vietnam on the Epic Games Store.
With games like The Pathless from Giant Squid set to release on November 12, it’s exciting to see ABZU available for free next week.
ABZU is the first game from Giant Squid, and from our personal experience with the game, we can say it’s well worth taking the time to play if you haven’t done so already.
Similarly, getting Rising Storm 2: Vietnam for free is a fantastic deal, especially if you’re big on FPS games with massive multiplayer matches.
Again, Pikuniku is available for free on the Epic Games Store until October 8 when it’ll be replaced by ABZU and Rising Storm 2: Vietnam.
