If you’re a fan of our little green guy Yoshi, then you’re familiar with Poochy, the adorable little dog in the Yoshi games that give Yoshi a chance to ride a creature. Usually, Mario rides Yoshi before swiftly ditching him like yesterday’s toy. We would never ditch Poochy like that, though, and thanks to a new teaser image for the next Mario kart Tour track, we might be able to drive a little kart as Poochy.
Yoshi Fans Rejoice, It Looks Like Poochy Might Be Coming To Mario Kart Tour
The official Mario Kart Tour Twitter account revealed a screenshot of a new course players will be able to enjoy soon. However, eagle-eyed fans noticed something hidden in this photo. If you look closely underneath the red arrow on the left, you’ll notice our little pal Poochy driving a car and trying his goddamn best to catch up to the other racers.
While it’s not confirmation that Poochy is definitely in the game, Mario kart Tour has hidden stuff in past screenshots. So hopefully, this is another situation. While Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has started adding new characters to its game through the Booster Pass, it’s possible Poochy could make its debut in Mario Kart 8 as well.

Even if it doesn’t though, having the adorable little guy driving in Mario Kart Tour is a start. We have no idea what evil shenanigans Poochy is capable of. We might even witness a murder; it’s an exciting time.
Poochy first debuted in Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island. Since then, Poochy has appeared in various other Mario and Yoshi titles like Yoshi’s Story, Tetris Attack, Yoshi’s Woolly World, and many more.
If Poochy is added to Mario Kart Tour, it sounds like we all have a new main to crush the competition with. how can you be mad at an adorable dog throwing a Blue Shell at you? It’s just adorable.
