The latest Xbox Wire post talks about this new Mastercard in more detail. Players will earn points with their everyday purchases. Card points are earned for every $1 spent on purchases, including Xbox products, streaming services, and dining services. Purchasing Xbox and Microsoft products will net players with a 5x multiplier, while streaming and dining services have a 3x point multiplier.

The Xbox Mastercard also has a bunch of added benefits and rewards for its users, including 5,000 points after the first purchase, three months of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for new members, and free access to FICO Credit Score to keep track of their score at all times. Additionally, each card can be customized with one of five iconic designs that can be further personalized with the players’ gamertag.

The Xbox Mastercard will be available for Xbox Insider members with residence in the continental United States, Alaska, or Hawaii. Members who meet these conditions can apply to receive this card starting on September 21. The card will be available in Waves to Xbox insiders throughout this Fall season. The Mastercard is expected to be available to all Xbox players in the United States in 2024.
