There are no shortage of collectibles in Wolfenstein: The New Order. While we’ve already covered topics like the Enigma Codes and Gold Items, today we want to focus on the Letters. While there aren’t as many as other items of interest, collecting them will put you one step closer to 100 percent completion and snag you The Lives of Others, a trophy and achievement for finding all of the letters.
Chapter 1: Deathshead’s Compound
The first letter of the game is found after the area where you have to pull the levers to reveal the secret room. Continue onward until you reach a large stairwell. As you begin to ascend, notice a blue bin on the right side with the words “Super Beton” on it. Go to the right, into the room and you’ll find Oskar’s Letter inside.
Chapter 2: Asylum
After clearing out the entire top level, you’ll make your way to the bottom area. One of the stairwells has some broken steps. If you look through those, you’ll be able to shoot a lock that will pop open a door. Go down the stairs and to that area, crouching to sneak into a back room. You’ll Find Izabela’s Letter sitting there, tucked away in a corner.
Chapter 3: A New Home
This letter is found after you go into the basement to chat with the Nazi Commander. Open the desk and snag the goggles inside. The game will turn you away, but turn back and look in the drawer again. You will find Roman’s Letter sitting inside.
Chapter 4: Eisenwald Prison
As soon as you leave Anya, sneak across the ledge to the first balcony. Go inside the empty apartment and you will find Erdmann’s Letter sitting on a table.
Chapter 5: A New Hope
There are no letters to be collected in this chapter.
Chapter 6: London Nautica

Chapter 7: A Mystery
This one is located in the main room where people are always working with the radio. If you turn around from that point, you’ll find Bobby’s Letter laying on his old bed. Keep this area in mind. It’s also the location of another letter you need to collect in Chapter 9: New Tactics.
Chapter 8: Camp Belica
Go into the sleeping quarters for all the prisoners and find two that you can talk to. They will give you a quest to find medicine. When you complete that quest and return to them, they will give you Christa’s Letter.
Chapter 9: New Tactics
This letter is in the same room where you found Bobby’s Letter. In fact, look at the bottom of Bobby’s bed and you will find Charlotte’s Letter sitting there.
Chapter 10: Berlin Catacombs
Just before you have to get out of the Tunnel Glider, you can exit to find a small tunnel that you can swim through. This should be about the time you’re informed that you’re underneath the prison. When you swim through this tunnel, you will eventually come to a room. Next to one of the beds you will find Ingrid’s Letter.
Chapter 11: U-Boat
There are no letters to be collected in this chapter.
Chapter 12: Gibraltar Bridge
There are no letters to be collected in this chapter.
Chapter 13: Lunar Base
This letter is found on the second floor of the area that contains the medical bay. There will be a series of rooms on the upper floor. You can find Dieter’s Letter in the second room of the bunch. You might want to clear out all the bad guys before you search for it.
Chapter 14: Return to London Nautica
There are no letters to be collected in this chapter.
Chapter 15: Under Attack
The final letter of the campaign is located on the second floor of your now burning hideout. You’ve been inside Max’s room before, so go back in there now and collect Max’s Letter. If you collected the other nine letters before this, you should now unlock The Lives of Others, a trophy and achievement for finding all 10 letters.
Chapter 16: Return to Deathshead’s Compound
