This new interactive adventure series, based on the Fables comic book series, puts you in the shoes of a detective with wolf-like capabilities, who runs into several fairy tale-like creatures in an urban setting. The game features numerous decisions that you’ll have to make, in both conversational choice and Quicktime event-style sequences.

We’ll have a strategic preview tomorrow that will go into more detail about the game, as well as what to expect. Meanwhile, you can get the first chapter this Friday for $4.99 on Xbox Live Arcade and PC, followed by a release on Tuesday for PlayStation Network.

If you prefer to buy the whole season all at once, you can put down $19.99 for all five episodes, or pre-purchase it on Steam for the slightly higher price of $22.49. Knowing Telltale’s game quality, it’ll certainly be worth it.
