When is the Release Date for Security Breach’s DLC, RUIN? – Answered

The most anticlimactic release date FNAF has ever done

It’s been a year and a half since FNAF: Security Breach released and after many glitches, patch updates, and cheeky cheats to avoid some nasty run-enders in the late game, we finally have a release date for the highly anticipated DLC.

When is the Release Date for FNAF: Security Breach’s DLC, RUIN?

I have to say that after many years of following the release of Five Nights at Freddy’s games, first with Scott Cawthon all on his own and then reaching out to bigger branches with game developers such as Steel Wools, this is the coldest release date I have ever seen pitched. In previous renditions, Scott has organized puzzles and Steel Wool had a countdown hidden in the trailers that were released for Security Breach where one number would be released with each one that dropped until it finally gave us a date. And now…

In a most unextraordinary fashion, Steel Wool Studios have just released a Tweet highlighting an image of Security Breach: Ruin with the date posted, July 25. Yes, we can expect for the game’s DLC to release on July 25, we got a bit of an image that MatPat from Game Theory will probably pour over for secrets, but I don’t know how he’s going to make an hour-long video about this one.

It almost feels like right when everyone was headed home for the day, one employee was like, “Dang, we forgot to do the promotion for the DLC release.” And another answered back, “Oh, I got it.” Posted the date, period and all, attached the image, and Tweeted it out right before they grabbed their jacket and left the building.

But um, now we got it! More secrets will be revealed, we’ll learn more about the story behind Gregory and find out what is his deal, why did he go back to the mall after all he’s been through. And the most important question of all is, can we trust him?

Aside from that, the RUIN DLC will be completely free so whether you already own the game or are going to buy it, you won’t need to worry about dishing out any extra fees. The game will be available for download on your consoles and PCs with no extra hoops to jump through. We’ve yet to see how long it’ll be or how big the file will end up being, but be sure to keep up with us by following the Game Tag just below this article so you can be notified right when we find out!

And just so you aren’t missing out on any other updates from Steel Wool Studios, be sure to follow their online handles because surely, surely this isn’t the only thing we’re going to be getting from them. In the time between now and July 25th, we can hope that another trailer will drop so keep an eye out with us as we wait hungrily for the next news.
