Warframe Is Coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate With New Event

Have a little Warframe with your Isabelle.

When Warframe came to the Nintendo Switch, it was a pretty big deal. Fans of the online title were stoked to take the experience with them on the go but little did they know that this port also meant a nifty little Warframe x Super Smash Bros. Ultimate crossover as well.

A new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Spirit Board event is on the way and it comes bearing Warframe goodness. As for what fans can look forward to:

  • Lotus
  • Bullet Bill
  • Infinite
  • Judge
  • Darkrai
  • Fire
  • Oil Panic
  • Turtle Bridge
  • Zekrom
  • Raphael the Raven

For those wanting to collect Lotus, you must be prepared to go up against Bayonetta. According to the Twitter post above, she can be enhanced once she reaches level 99 and has three slots available.

It’s pretty exciting to see this sort of mashup, it really does open up the doors for literally anything especially since Nintendo has more than delivered on their promise of more third-party support than ever before for the Switch. With big franchises like Resident Evil, Fortnite, DOOM, and so many others in the Big N’s library, no characters are off the table when it comes to who will invade Super Smash Bros. Ultimate next.

The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Warframe event kicks off on February 28th!
