343 Industries took to the Halo Waypoint blog to share details on what fans can expect from the upcoming Xbox Series X showcase. In their blog, they mentioned that July 23rd will, feature the first look at the Halo Infinite campaign and actual gameplay, which is what fans have been clamoring for ever since Infinite was revealed.

The last time we were able to glean more from the upcoming game was during E3 2019, since then news has been very quiet. With the reworked design of Master Chief, Cortana’s possible return, and a whole host of new features to explore following feedback of past launches, there are going to be a lot of eyes on this showcase to learn more about the road ahead.

With Halo 3 launching on PC here soon thanks to the Master Chief collection and a Halo TV show in the works, this Xbox-driven franchise is nowhere close to the end of its journey, but a few changes must be made for it to reclaim its former glory. From what 343 has said previously, they’ve heard that feedback loud and clear and aim to have a more familiar experience for players to enjoy when Infinite finally arrives this holiday season.

As for Halo: Infinite, we don’t know when we’re going to be getting the new Master Chief adventure exactly outside of a holiday window, but in the meantime, you can check out our Halo: Infinite game hub here to learn more! You can also hit us up on Twitter with any Halo-related thoughts as well @PrimaGames!
