The company inked a deal with the providers of the Steam service, which lets you link accounts together so you can watch upcoming tournaments and gameplay videos while receiving exclusive item drops for the game DOTA 2.

Details about this new promotion have been revealed through the official DOTA 2 blog.

From the blog:

“We realize that people have different reasons why they prefer to watch in game or via streams and wanted to bridge the gap of features they were missing out on by choosing the service that works for them the most.  We hope to expand on the features available via this system and would love to hear what you think we should work on next.”

You can link up your Twitch.tv and Steam accounts free-of-charge and see what they have to offer.
