We’re assured that there will still be The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess on GameCube, quashing rumors that it will never happen.
When speaking to Eurogamer this week, Nintendo PR Manager stated “Nintendo has always said that The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess will appear on Nintendo GameCube and this is still very much the case.”
When the statement was released that Twilight Princess was to be pushed back to next year, most thought it was going to be in the first quarter. The game then didn’t appear on the Q1 release list brought out by Nintendo last week. Many thought that meant a Revolution release instead.
When someone asked Reggie Fils-Aime, Nintendo spokesperson, about the issue, he said he spoke on behalf of Nintendo and it’s president Shigeru Miyamoto in saying that they definitely wanted to say a GameCube release.
A silver-lining to say the least then, as GameCubers will still get the game, just a little later.
