Tetris Beat Brings Rhythmic Puzzle Gaming to Apple Arcade

Tetris turning into a music-heavy brand was not on my gaming bingo board.

Some interesting, new games are coming to Apple Arcade. Today, we learned that a brand new variation of classic puzzle game Tetris is coming to Apple’s iOS subscription service. It’s called Tetris Beat, and it combines the familiar line-forming gameplay with musical cues from real-life, licensed artists.

Both developed and published by a company called N3TWORK, Tetris Beat is “coming soon” to Apple Arcade, and the following acts were confirmed:

  • Alison Wonderland
  • GARZA (from Thievery Corporation)

  • Dauwd
  • CINTHIE

Also coming soon to Apple Arcade is a new variant of Capcom’s Monster Hunter Stories, which is coming alongside the sequel on other platforms and a previously-released paid version.
