Temple Run has become quite the success for Imangi Studios. It’s already racked up well over 170 million downloads (!), through both its original form and several variations, including a version based on Disney/Pixar’s movie Brave. But now it’s time to run back into the temple, as the company has snuck a sequel onto the iOS front.
Temple Run 2 introduces a number of visually upgraded levels to work your way through, as you collect gold tokens and dodge obstacles in order to keep your success going. The game also includes a slew of new power-ups and Achievements to unlock through GameCenter, as well as new mine cart and zip line sequences to test your mettle.
The game is out in the App Store now, free of charge, and will be coming to the Android front starting next week. Looks like we found an all new addiction to get us through January…
