The developers at DICE have updated their Battlefield 4 blog with an all-new entry this morning, one that goes into detail on the return of Spectator Mode. This special mode allows you to view battles as they happen, in case you can’t get in on the action yourself.

Featuring a number of dynamic camera options and beautiful Frostbite 3 engine effects, Spectator Mode promises to be another huge addition to the game.

“Our goal has been to give spectators the best possible views of the Battlefield, and the ability to quickly switch between both camera types and players – without toggling through an entire team to get what they want,” says the post.

Battlefield 4 will release on October 29th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC; November 15th on PlayStation 4; and November 22nd for Xbox One.
