Sony has announced that it has launched a new “PSN Day 1 Digital” program today. Like it’s been doing with most releases as of late (including Transformers: Fall of Cybertron, Dead Or Alive 5 and Borderlands 2), it will release retail games in digital form on the same day that they hit store shelves. And some will even be offered at a discount through the PlayStation Plus program, a whopping ten percent off. Hey, money saved is money earned.

These games include Resident Evil 6 and NBA 2K13 (October 2nd); Dishonored (October 9th); Doom 3: BFG Edition and 007 Legends (October 16th); Medal of Honor: Warfighter (October 23rd) and both Assassin’s Creed III and Need For Speed: Most Wanted (October 30th).

Better save some room on your hard drive for these bad boys…
