Devolver Digital has been keeping busy between its plethora of Serious Sam games and the return of Rise of the Triad, as well as the upcoming Hotline Miami games for PS Vita and PS3. Now you can add another upcoming release to their roster: Shadow Warrior.
The original game came out in the 90’s from 3D Realms and this one will keep its focus on humor and fast-paced melee combat as you fight your way through vicious enemy forces. The developers at Flying Wild Hog are staying true to the nature of the original game, while throwing in plenty of new tricks that will make in-game combat more invigorating than ever before.
You can check out a teaser trailer here and expect more information in the weeks ahead as the game prepares for its release on PC later this year, followed by next-gen consoles in 2014.
