River City Girls 0 Smashes its Way Onto Nintendo Switch February 14, Other Consoles Coming Later

It's about time

River City Girls 0, the updated port of Shin Nekketsu Kōha: Kunio-tachi no Banka for the Super Famicom has finally received a release date. The NA and EU versions of the game will be out on February 14 digitally for the Nintendo Switch. The rest of the consoles including PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox One X|S, and PC will arrive at a later date.

The later date was not revealed in that tweet by developer Wayforward announcing the Switch release. There is also a LimitedRun physical edition that fans can check out right here.

There are also a few other physical editions on the website worth checking out if you’re trying to collect all of that physical media goodness. 

If you’re a fan of the original River City Girls it’s worth checking out 0, especially as we continue to wait for the upcoming sequel River City Girls 2. 

River City Girls 0 is a prequel that helps flesh out the backstory of our two main protagonists as well as some of the side characters that appear in the first game. 

River City Girls 2 is still scheduled to release in 2022, but no release date is known.
