Time to follow the drinking bird!
This article is over 12 years old and may contain outdated information

If there’s a creature out there that has truly gone under-appreciated over the last few years, it’s the drinking bird. This little oddity tips back and forth by itself, sipping out of a glass and then taking a break before it realizes it drank so much. (Some of us could learn from it.)

Square Enix paid further tribute to the drinking bird by announcing it’s released a new downloadable content pack for its first-person puzzle-solving game Quantum Conundrum. In this new chapter you’re re-introduced to an old friend in the game named Desmond the drinking bird as he guides you through a new wing of the Quadwrangle Manor with a number of new puzzles to solve and secrets to find. Because you should trust drinking birds, right?

The DLC, titled the Desmond Debacle, is available now on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network, and you can pick it up for a very reasonable 240 Microsoft points ($3). If you’re a fan of the game we suggest picking it up and if you’re not, there’s no better time to discover this fun little gem. Besides, you get to play around in a fluffy world with drinking birds! Win win?
