Princess Peach Showtime Reveal Showcases Showstopping New Abilities and Release Date

The world is a stage.

After the June 2023 Nintendo Direct, we learned that a new Princess Peach game was being developed at Nintendo. During the September 2023 direct, we learned that the game is now called Princess Peach: Showtime! Using the power of Stella’s Ribbon, you can harness magic and the power of different outfits.

In the trailer, we see Princess Peach transform into a swordfighter, a detective, and even a chef. There are plenty of unique outfits for Peach to wear, which change the gameplay throughout her adventure.

The official YouTube description of Princess Peach: Showtime gives us a bit more information on the anticipated title.

“The wicked Grape and the Sour Bunch have taken over the Sparkle Theater, and now it’s up to Peach and the theater’s guardian Stella to save the play––and the day! Peach can transform and use fantastic showstopping abilities to face off against the Sour Bunch.”

The September 2023 Nintendo Direct was packed with announcements from beloved Nintendo franchises.
