Pokemon Go in Vegas

This is the first event where trainers will have the “opportunity” to join up with Team GO Rocket in a Special Research Story. And is there a more perfect place for trainer and Team GO Rocket to team up? Rhi from the GO Ultra Recon Squad will also be a part of the Special Research: Chasing Legends, which focuses on the Red and Blue Orbs reputed to be connected to Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon.

Yes, during this event, trainers may encounter Kyogre and Groudon’s Primal Reversions for the first time! But these sea and land legendries aren’t the only rare Pokemon trainers can expect to see. Shiny Jirachi will also be discoverable, though more information isn’t available at this time.

For the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Unown H, Shiny Surskit, Shiny Gulpin, Shiny Torkoal, Shiny Cacnea, Shiny Tropius, and Shiny Relicanth. But these Pokemon will only appear in a distinct biome: Blistering Sands! What a way to describe Nevada.

The starter Pokemon for Hoenn will also be making an appearance, and yes, they can be Shiny. This Hoenn Event will be the perfect time to reunite with your old favorite starters.

Will you be heading out to the Neon Capital of the world?
