A little while back, Sony introduced a new PlayStation Mobile service, where players could download affordable, simple games not only to mobile devices, but also the PS Vita, for their playing pleasure. Well, today the service has officially gone live, and you can boot up your favorite handheld device and get to gaming.
The service is ready to go in various countries, including the U.S., Canada, UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Japan and Australia, and although only a few games are available, they’re on the cheap, ranging from $.99 to $4.99, depending on the title. And more good news – indie favorite Super Crate Box is amongst the offered games, going for a meager $3.49. Well worth it, if you ask us.
The PlayStation Mobile service will continue to flourish as time goes on with even more game releases, and possibly even some classic PS One stuff, so keep an eye open. We’ll have a guide that helps you out with the service in the weeks ahead, so keep an eye out for that as well.
Meanwhile, Super Crate Box…go play it. Seriously!
