Pilotwings Stage Introduced in Super Smash Bros.

This isn't just another coast around the island.

Namco Bandai continues to delve deep into Nintendo’s legacy for potential background settings for its upcoming Super Smash Bros. sequels for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U. Today, in collaboration with the big N, the company revealed the latest stage where players will be fighting – Pilotwings Island.

On the island, players will duke it out with a number of familiar characters, such as Mario, Star Fox and Link, along with new additions like the Wii Fit Trainer and Capcom’s Mega Man.  So far, it’s only ben confirmed for the Wii U version of Smash, though it’s possible it’ll be included in the 3DS version as well.
