Overcooked is all about the chaos in the kitchen and having to problem solve together with friends or family. Something that often gets lost in the shuffle is making it accessible for everyone. Well, that’s all about to change because Ghost Town Games is bringing some great accessibility options and a new assist mode to the game.
You can view the trailer below, which showcases just how Ghost Town Games plans to make sure everyone can enjoy the game. Additions such as increased round timers and slower recipe timers make an excellent way to enjoy Overcooked with your kids or people who don’t usually play games.

That’s not all though Ghost Town Games went even further an added options like Dyslexia friendly text, colorblind options, and a completely scalable UI.
The Team 17 official blog post states that subtitles, menu descriptions, legend text, and the team management menu will all be entirely scalable for players to suit their needs.
These accessibility options may go unnoticed by many players, but are a massive deal for allowing more people to enjoy this game.
The colorblind options are incredibly impressive, using color and shapes to identify each chef better, making things slightly less chaotic.
