Nintendo Indie World Showcase Announced for Tomorrow

“Tune in May 11 at 7:00 a.m. PT for a new Indie World Showcase featuring roughly 20 minutes of information on upcoming indie games headed to Nintendo Switch. #IndieWorld,” Nintendo tweeted.

The last showcase was back in December of 2021 and featured games like River City Girls 2, OlliOlli World, and Omori. What could we see from this latest showcase? We still don’t have a release date for Omori, so an update on that would be great.

There are also titles like Neon White planned for “early 2022” but still do not have a hard release date. Of course, someone out there is quietly weeping waiting for more information on Silksong from Team Cherry, and even though it’s an indie direct, I’m sure there are fans shouting Mother 3.

Luckily, the showcase is only a day away and we won’t have to speculate long on what rad new indies we will have more information about. Maybe a game or two will surprise release tomorrow and we can all collectively get excited about some fresh new indie titles.
