As if we weren’t busy enough this coming week with the likes of Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Blacklist and Saints Row IV, EA and Ubisoft have some new downloadable demos coming as well.
Ubisoft announced that it will release a new demo for Rayman Legends for both PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace, one where players can work together – or play solo – as they rampage through a small sampling of the beautiful worlds within it. The Xbox Live demo is available now, and you can get it here. The PSN demo should follow next Tuesday with the store’s update.
In addition, EA Sports will also release a demo for its upcoming hockey opus NHL 14, where players can check out a number of modes, including a quick play mode that recreates the 2013 Stanley Cup Finals, as well as a sample of the recently announced NHL 94 Anniversary Mode, which brings back the 16-bit classic in a whole new way. You’ll also get to sample the new Hockey Ultimate Team mode. It’ll be available next week, on August 20th.
Rayman Legends releases on September 3rd, while NHL 14 will make its debut on September 10th.
