Last year at during its pre-E3 press conference, Sony put a big push behind its Wonderbook peripheral by announcing a number of games where players could interact with some remarkable stories. Among them was Diggs Nightcrawler, an interesting mixture of familiar nursery rhymes (like Humpty Dumpty) and film noir featuring gameplay that players of all ages can get into.
Though we haven’t heard much about the game since, Sony changed all that today with a new post on its PlayStation Blog. Senior producer Nathan Baseley talked a little bit about and revealed a new developer’s blog and some new gameplay footage, so players have a better idea what to expect from this quirky yet humorous story.
Moonbot Studios developed game has Diggs out to solve a complex mystery, trying to see what happened to Humpty Dumpty (apparently he had a great fall, go figure) and interacting with an interesting universe in the process.
Diggs Nightcrawler is currently set for release later this year on PlayStation 3, though an exact release date hasn’t been pinpointed yet. We’ll keep you informed on its progress.
