This week’s free game is the PSP fighting game Soul Calibur: Broken Destiny, which is compatible with the PS Vita.  This game features an eclectic cast of characters, including Kratos from God of War, battling for the infamous sword Soul Edge.  You can download it for no charge starting tomorrow.

In addition, the forthcoming PSN/Vita release Thomas Was Alone will be marked down to $7.99 and is Cross Buy compatible.

Finally, a number of games in the Resident Evil franchise will be on sale.  You can snag Resident Evil 6 for just under $15 or the Darkside and Umbrella Chronicles digital releases for under $7.50 each.  Classics like Resident Evil 4, Code Veronica X and the classic PS One games will also be available for cheap, but only through this week.

Happy buying!  These specials go live tomorrow when PSN performs its weekly update.
