Resident Evil 6 PC Gets Left 4 Dead 2 Themed Content

Capcom has announced that there will be a special tie in for the release of Resident Evil 6 on PC.  There will be characters and content from Left 4 Dead 2 in the game.

In the PC-exclusive The Mercenaries: No Mercy mode, players will be able to select Coach, Nick, Ellis and Rochelle from the Left 4 Dead 2’s cast.  Also, the Left 4 Dead 2 enemy types the Witch and the Mini Tank will make cameo appearances in this mode. 

Left 4 Dead 2 will also feature monsters from Resident Evil 6.  Coming soon to the PC version of that game are the Lepotitsa, Napad and Ogroman 

“We’re huge Resident Evil fans, so when the opportunity arose to work directly with Capcom to combine L4D2 and RE6, we jumped at it,” said Valve’s Chet Faliszek. 

“The Resident Evil 6 team really enjoyed working on this crossover, and we’re confident that our fans will have a great time with it too!”said Resident Evil 6 producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi.
