Atlus has been diligent in its galaxy-brain marketing strategy for Persona 3 Reload. As previously announced during interviews, new content about the upcoming remake will be revealed during Full Moons, a nod to their importance in the original title. And it has now happened again, as the night of August 1st displays the moon in full radiance.
In celebration, an extended trailer for the game has now been published by the Official ATLUS West Twitter account. Check it out below.
Persona 3 Reload Extended Trailer Revealed at the Moonlight
This is actually a re-release of an early July Japan-only trailer some of you might’ve already seen but with some slightly different shots hidden here and there. The main focus goes to some extra glimpses at gameplay scenes in Tartarus, as well as quick displays of the new animated cutscenes.
Persona 3 Reload had a dedicated panel at Anime Expo last month, introducing the new visuals/portraits of a few more characters, as well as their new VAs dubbing a few iconic lines. A similar reveal is expected to happen during the course of the following months’ full moons, as the main SEES cast is far from complete.

The next full moon is actually set to happen on August 31, when we’ll probably get a few more concrete info on the game’s new features and changes. The hottest theory right now is that the game will be released on March 5th (a very important in-game date), but nothing is confirmed just yet.
Persona 3 Reload is set to be released in early 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Series X|S, and PC (available on Day One with Xbox Game Pass). Rumors about a Switch release are still around, but no confirmation has been given as of now.
