Mortal Shell 2 Available Now for Devout Edition Owners

If you purchased or purchase the Devout Edition, you can jump into Mortal Shell 2 right now on PC, Xbox Series S|X, and PS5 three days ahead of its official release on August 20, 2026. Check out the launch trailer below:

The Devout Edition costs $10 more than the regular edition, bringing the price up to $60, and also includes the Obsidian Skin Pack, which has a unique skin for each playable shell.

It also has regional pricing enabled on Steam, so the price may differ for you.

On PC, Mortal Shell 2 is around 70 GB, and pre-loading has been available since yesterday. If you don’t see the title on Steam, restart the client, and it’ll show up. The game is now available in all regions since it had a global launch rollout.

What really surprised me about the title is just how well it runs on PC. I got rock-solid performance at higher settings on my 4070 Super at 1440p, with no major or noticeable stutters. It’s clear that the team has spent a good while optimizing the title to ensure it runs well and has enough scalability.
