Mortal Kombat 11 is here and if a recent leak proves true, we could have up to 19 new DLC fighters on the way! NetherRealm Studios has been pretty upfront with fans about wanting to make sure that the latest Mortal Kombat game has an impressive shelf life and Warner Bros. recently took to the stage during the 2019 GamesBeat Summit to reiterate the years of content that they have up their sleeves.
When Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment president David Haddad took to the stage, he mentioned: “I couldn’t be more proud of that team and what they’ve done and the innovations they’ve brought to [Mortal Kombat].” He then added that the team has been diligent about applying the changes players would like to see fixed, including the great microtransactions debate, as well as “years of new content” on the horizon.
At this time, there is a Kombat Pass that offers six additional DLC fighters and seven exclusive skins as well as new gear. There will be even more on the horizon, setting the stage for fan favorites to return such as Rain and even a few surprising new additions as well.
As for the game in its present state, aside from a huge patch planned next week to tweak Towers, Mortal Kombat 11 is now available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. You can learn even more about the latest fighter with our Game Hub here for tips, tricks, and our full review!
